Cheese Crisps!
The girls aren't the biggest breakfast eaters, especially Olivia, so I like to try and mix it up a bit and
offer a variety of different things.
But, if you're like me, by the weekend the fridge is getting pretty empty so it's slim pickings!

They both like cheese, but I find if I give it to them at snack or breakfast, they won't eat it. But apparently if their cheese is crispy, they will devour it!
Cheese Crisps
Ingredients:
Cheese Crisps
Ingredients:
Cheese - I used cheddar, but any kind will work.
I also a think higher quality cheese would be better too.
Directions:
Preheat a griddle to 325 degrees. A frying pan heated to medium-high will work as well.
Cut cheese into squares. The size and thickness didn't seem to matter, but the thinner the slice, the crispier they get which I preferred!
Place cheese on griddle leaving about an inch or so in between. If the cheese squares are too close, they will melt together.
After a few minutes, the cheese will melt and start bubbling. They will get all oily looking and then after a couple more minutes* they will dry out and start browning.
Once done, remove with a flipper and place on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
Enjoy!!
*I've made them twice and the second time I left them on longer to brown more and they were crispier, which I thought was better. I didn't time them, just kept a close eye on them!
