Chocolate Wowbutter Energy Balls

It's been awhile!!

I figured I'd come back with a quick and easy recipe...Chocolate Wowbutter Energy Balls!

Lauren (my 7 year old) and I whipped these up last night before she went to bed. 
They took us about 15 minutes to make, only because we threw a fractions math lesson in! Poor kid! Ha ha!

Chocolate Wowbutter Energy Balls

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Wowbutter 
  • 1/3 cup Honey or Maple Syrup - we did a mix of both
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/4 cup Mini chocolate chips
  • 1/3-1/2 cup Raisins (we didn't measure)
  • 2-3 tbsp Chia Seeds


  • Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes. Once set, roll into small balls. 
  • Refrigerate or freeze once rolled. 
*I didn't count them but I think we made about 24 balls.

Coming (back) soon...

If you look back at my last post, it was dated January 2018. That’s a really, really, really long time since I’ve posted! 

It’s not that I don’t bake anymore, it’s just that life happened. Life got a little chaotic, a little crazy, and a little weird! 

Mommy, Can I Lick the Spoon?! Is something that has been on my mind A LOT lately these last several months and I think it’s time for a comeback. 

These days I don’t really do as much exciting baking as I used to, but I’m still baking and still making kids lunches and snacks. And now, my kids like to bake with me. 

I don’t know what direction this blog will be heading in, maybe it’ll be about kids lunches and snacks? Or maybe baking with my kids? Or healthier baking recipes? I don’t know. 
I just know I’m ready to have it back in my life!

January 2018: A Quick Update

After a few so many months of no blogging, a broken camera, an unexpected move to a new city, one kid starting kindergarten, and one starting preschool (both of which involved more tears, on my part, than I'd like to admit), I'm back! Well kind of...I’m getting there!
I'm slowly working on getting back to baking more and blogging about it.

In the next week or so, I’m hoping to get a post up for Olivia’s 4th (!!!) Birthday.
